Bourdais Tost, Alguersuari in?
If you beleive the rumors - and they are overwhelming - Sebastien Bourdais will be immediately dropped from Toro Rosso, and replaced by Spanish youngster Jaime Alguersuari.
Alguersuari - try and say that after a couple of Finnish vodkas! - is the reigning British F3 Champion, being the youngest ever to win the title at 18 years and 203 days.
He replaced Brendon Hartley as Red Bull (both teams) reserve driver only a couple of weeks ago, Hartley deciding to concentrate on his racing in the World Series by Renault.
If Franz Tost and Torro Rosso do confirm Bourdais' replacement it will be the best worst kept secret in F1... ok well on Alonso to Ferrari levels anyway ;)
Update 16th July
It's been confirmed, Bourdais has been dropped, but no replacement will be announced until
shortly before the Hungarian Grand Prix.
Team principal Franz Tost said:
"In Sébastien's second year with us, the partnership has not met our expectations and therefore we have decided to replace him as from the next round of the World Championship, the Hungarian Grand Prix."
Update 20th July
Jaime has been confirmed as Bourdais' replacement. Interestingly, he intends to continue racing in the World Series by Renault alongside his duties in Formula 1.
