  • He's no Turkey - Vettel storms to Istanbul pole

Sebastian Vettel took pole position for tomorrow's Turkish Grand Prix in emphatic style. He topped the time sheets in every qualifying period. Jenson Button will line up in 2nd, with his teammate Rubens Barrichello 3rd.

Aussie Mark Webber is 4th with qualifying specialist Jarno Trulli alongside him.

Both Ferrari's are next lead by Kimi Raikkonen. Alonso, Rosberg and a resurgent Kubica round out the top ten.

Lewis Hamilton had a dreadful session, failing even to get into Q2, he lines up 16th on the grid. Putting some perspective on the uncompetitive McLaren, Mercedes customer and perennial also-ran Force India out-qualified Lewis.

Lightest man in the top ten is Alonso in 8th. Jenson Button has 2 more laps of fuel than Vettel, and 1 more than his teammate. If Webber can keep on back of the Brawn he'll be in a lap later than Barrichello and could be on the overtake.

The start will be cruical, if Vettel can stay ahead of the Brawns we may see the true pace of the Red Bull - and if it is any better than that of the Brawn. Webber and Trulli will have their hands full with the KERS equiped Ferraris.

One thing for sure, it's going to be a great race!
