The 2010 Twitter F1 Grid
Last year we published the The Twitter (fake) F1 Grid, which was lots of fun, but this year we've (almost) got the real Twitter F1 Grid! An incredible number of the real teams and drivers have signed up for the 140-character service, offering insight and opportunity for fans to connect directly with the people literally in the hot seats! Admittedly some are better twitttererers than... read more

My winter of discontent...
I sat down to write another piece on Michael Schumacher and his comeback to go with the other eleventy billion pieces on Michael Schumacher’s comeback and realised that I had absolutely zero desire to write that piece. I instead decided to make a point of how I hate December and January with regard to F1 every single year. If F1 fans were dinosaurs (of the carnivorous type – who... read more

The stuff dreams are made of - student wins drive in F1 car
Remember Philips and Williams were offering that once in the lifetime prize to drive a Formula 1 car? Bad news is I didn't win, but Rob Tarlton did! The 21 year-old student from Chicago, USA said shortly after getting out of the FW29, It was incredible. I knew it was going to be fast, but I didn’t expect it to be that fast! and later added, It’s a dream come true and a hell of a lot... read more

Competition: Fancy driving a F1 car?
Do you think you could handle one of those 750hp monsters that pound around our television screens every other Sunday afternoon? Win this competition and you could! Philips - major sponsors of the AT&T Williams F1 team - are offering one lucky winner the chance to drive the 2007 Williams FW29. The same car that Nico Rosberg, Alex Wurz, and Kazuki Nakajima drove in 2007 to 4th in the... read more

F1-Fans Visits The Williams Factory!
In a surprise invitation, F1-Fans got to go down to the Williams F1 Team Factory today in Oxford. Why I hear you asking? Well it was to gain awareness about a new competition that has been launched by Williams and their main sponsor PHILIPS which will allow ‘Joe Public’ the chance to actually drive a real Williams F1 car. Red Bull's iPhone App
Red Bull Racing seem to be having a bit of an online/interweb/computer makeover, a couple of weeks back they quietly launched their iPhone/iPod Touch app, it's pretty good, so I thought I'd share. It's a big download (I'd do it when you're on a wifi connection) at just over 48 megabytes, but thats due to the video and high resolution photos. Once downloaded, installed and all that malarkey,... read more

Just what is going on with those F1 sunglasses?
Formula One is a dirty old game at the best of times, and right now it isn't the best of times. I'm sick of the political mess, and it dominating the F1 headlines, so thought I'd take a lighter look at F1. F1 drivers - I'm sure - have never really been known for their fashion prowess. I mean Michael Schumacher was never the snazziest dresser was he? Over the last few weekends I've noticed some... read more

The Twitter (fake) F1 grid
With all of the shenanigans on the track, in the stewards room, and soon to be in the courts, F1 is really getting heavy. For a lighter take on F1 there are a number of self-proclaimed 'fakes' sprouting up on Twitter. The current F1 grid of fakes are; Webber, Vettel, Nakajima, Button, Hamilton, Alonso, Massa, Buemi, Trulli and Glock (update 23/4/09: Raikkonen, Kubica). Each updating us with a 140... read more

Kimi teaches Felipe a lesson in keeping cool
Today's Malaysian Grand Prix was somewhat a chaotic affair, the race was red flagged on lap 33 after a storm hit the circuit with a deluge of thunder and rain. Despite not racing many of the cars struggled to even make it back to the grid because the sheer amount of water on track caused them to aquaplane everywhere. Once back on the grid/pit the two Ferrari drivers couldn't have reacted to the... read more
